Donohue’s Tim Korby, PE, LEED AP BD+C was recently sworn in as the 2017-2018 President of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Minnesota (ACEC/MN) during their 67th Annual Meeting & Awards Presentation. Tim is preceded by Dan Murphy of Meyer Borgman Johnson.
“I’m thrilled to become ACEC's President. I believe it is the greatest honor for someone to lead one’s professional association. One of my principle goals is to reach out to the youth of Minnesota promoting the engineering profession. In particular, my goal is to promote diversity in ACEC and all of engineering. They are our future, we need to educate them about what we do, what a great profession engineering is, and to embrace and encourage all cultures and demographics into ACEC,” Tim remarked.
Tim is a vice president located in Donohue’s Minneapolis area office. He has more than 31 years of experience as a civil engineer working with municipal utilities, airports, transportation and roadways design, curb and gutter design, stormwater management, environmental projects, design and construction, development review, funding and financing, and management assistance. He has served as a Vice President of ACEC Minnesota, is a member of the Minnesota Public Works Association, is a member of the Legislative Committee for the City Engineers Association of Minnesota, and is a member of the Economic Development Association of Minnesota.
