WEFTEC®, recognized as the world's largest annual water quality technical conference and exhibition, is set for September 29 to October 3 in New Orleans. The 91st Annual Conference includes workshops and presentations from Donohue senior wastewater professionals Sara Arabi, Nathan Cassity, and Eric Lynne.
Donohue personnel will be presenting three technical sessions focused on stormwater and wastewater treatment at the 42nd Annual Minnesota Wastewater Operators Association (MWOA) Conference. The conference will be held at the TimberLake Lodge in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
Engineering News-Record (ENR) has ranked Donohue & Associates No. 17 in the wastewater treatment plant category in its annual compilation of top U.S. engineering firms. This is up two spots from 2017 and puts Donohue alongside some of the largest engineering firms in the country.

An idea created with legos turned to reality for fifth graders from Skinner North Elementary School's Classical First Lego League Girls Lego Robotics Team during Central States Water Environment Association's (CSWEA) annual conference. Donohue's Natalie Cook led a team of CSWEA and school volunteers to build a rain garden that captures stormwater and prevents flooding at the Chicago school's playground.

Donohue, the City of Rushville, Indiana, and generator contractor Bowen received a 2018 Merit Award for engineering excellence from the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Indiana. The award was made in recognition of the Cloth-Media Disk Filters for CSO Treatment project completed for Rushville Utilities.

The Indiana American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA) announced eight Excellence in Concrete Pavement Awards at its recent recognition program in Indianapolis. St. Joseph County received an award for the Development Area #1 Road Reconstruction and Sanitary/Water Improvements Project in the Town of New Carlisle. The project involved engineering planning, design, and construction oversight by Donohue & Associates.
